Stockport Christadelphians

About Us

Bible-based group of believers meeting together in Stockport and part of the worldwide Christadelphian community.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness”
2 Timothy 3:16 (ESV)

Who Are The Christadelphians?

Our name “Christadelphian” means brothers and sisters in Christ. There are communities of Christadelphians – often called Ecclesias – all across the UK and in many countries worldwide.

We are a Bible-based group of believers meaning that our faith – the things we believe and hope for – comes solely from the Bible. It is God’s Word, His message to us, and so is the sole source of authority that we should accept for what God wants to tell us.

Christadelphians In Stockport

There has been a Christadelphian community in Stockport since 1875. For most of that time we have met together at a building between Dodge Hill and Lancashire Hill, now just north of the M60. Around 70 members come together each Sunday to remember Jesus’ life, his sacrifice and his resurrection, and to learn from the Bible.

We meet the varied needs of our members and families through different activities during the week. We hold a weekly Bible study class, a study class translated into Farsi, and a Sunday School for our young people.

In all we do, we try to follow Jesus’ example. We support and care for each other as a big family in Jesus. Our aim is to share our faith and the truth of God’s message with those around us.
